Euro Collection International - Now wholly owned by Downies Ltd.

On April 1st, 2008 Euro Collections International became a division of Downies Ltd. Downies embarked on this auspicious venture with a view to expanding upon the already firm foundation that has been built here at ECI with you, the valued customers. While there will be some inevitable changes along the way, our plan is to maintain the ease and accessibility by which you are able to locate and purchase your favourite world coins - and even improve upon it!

Transitorily, the ECI website will run as its own distinct operating division, while the stock preparation, packing and shipping will become amalgamated with Downies current operations immediately. With this in mind we have made a couple of small changes to streamline ECI with the general running of our parent company. These include:

  • Operating Hours; Our hours of business will now be from Sunday through to Thursday, 3:00pm - 10:00pm Pacific Time - However our on-line store never sleeps and any phone messages will be answered promptly once the office opens. Why these times you may ask? Well, our phones are manned in Melbourne, Australia. The processing of orders is done from there also.
  • Postage delivery changes; Postage to US customers will be handled by USPS or UPS. All US orders will be shipped via our Newport Beach, California office. All other countries, including Canada, will have their orders shipped via International Mail. Unfortunately at this time we are unable to offer FedEx as a delivery option.
  • Postage cost change; Postage to US customers will still be US$6.00; however this amount will remain fixed up to an order value of US$500. Orders to US customers over US$500 will be FREE of charge. Please see our Frequently Asked Questions page for information about International shipping charges.
  • Bonus Points; Downies Ltd customers have enjoyed Bonus Points on their purchases since 1993 and now ECI is offering this tangible acknowledgement of loyalty to its valued customers. For more information please go to our Bonus Points Information Page. A Bonus Points redemption catalog will be mailed out towards the end of the year so start accumulating your points today!
